1 Week Post-Transfer

A week ago, our babies were placed in my womb. Today, they've either implanted in my womb or are now in Heaven. The wait of not knowing where they are today is driving us crazy! I almost bought a HPT, but I restrained myself. 2 more days until my beta - Thursday can't come soon enough!

Did I mention that this wait is absolute torture?!

Trusting in God's perfect plan for them and for us no matter what that may be...

I have to say, I think you are so brave and I've loved watching your journey of faith. I've been praying in earnest for you and Ashley that you BOTH have positives! It would be such good news for me, too, as we are planning to head to NEDC in Sept or Nov. Strange question -- did you do the whole pineapple core thing? I've really been trying to seek God's will on that. I know that, ultimately, a pregancy does not hinge on a Hawaiian treat, so I'm leaning towards "no", but wanted to know what you did, and if NEDC had any say in the matter.

Hi Britney -
No, I did not eat pineapple core (nor did I do acupuncture). The NEDC never once mentioned it to me. But, I had read on other blogs that many people had done it, so after my transfer I asked one of the NEDC nurses if I needed to eat pineapple core and she said "I've never even heard of that. But, I say try whatever you think might work!" My husband and I decided not to. I have talked to others who did get pregnant and had live births, but did not eat pineapple core. I would say do what you want to - It may help with implantation...may not...Who knows?
Thanks for praying for us!

Thanks for the quick response. I also do not plan to do acupuncture. I may get a massage beforehand, but that is just because I like massages! ha ha. Ultimately, it will work or not(for you, me, and Ashley) and whether it does or doesn't is all part of God's perfect plan for each of us. I keep praying and eagerly wait the outcome.

I am praying for you as I know how awful that 2ww can be. Though, I am certain that "this" type of 2ww is a lot different in so many ways! I think of you and we pray for you and your sweet babies daily.

I am impressed you've managed to stay away from the HPT's. I am weak! I can't wait to hear the news tomorrow! Just one more day :)
